Terms of Service
Effective Date: _____________
1. What This Service Is
Injunction Junction ("the Platform") is a technology platform operated on behalf of the Schill Law Firm ("the Firm"). The Platform provides an online intake system and AI-powered case preparation tools that help the Firm serve clients seeking injunctions for protection in Florida.
When you use this Platform, you are engaging the Schill Law Firm for legal services. The Platform is the Firm's technology — it helps organize your information and prepare materials for your attorney's review.
2. Your Attorney
Your legal representation is provided by the Schill Law Firm. Attorney Lawrence C. Schill (Florida Bar No. 0983561) is responsible for reviewing all case materials, providing legal advice, and filing documents with the court. The Platform does not provide legal advice or legal representation independently.
The attorney-client relationship is between you and the Schill Law Firm. It is formed when your attorney reviews your case, quotes a fee, and you accept — not before.
3. How AI Technology Is Used
The Platform uses artificial intelligence (AI) technology to help prepare your case materials. Specifically:
- Your intake information and uploaded evidence are analyzed by AI to produce a case assessment, hearing preparation materials, and a draft petition.
- These AI-generated materials are drafts only — they are provided to your attorney for review, not directly to you.
- Your attorney independently reviews, verifies, modifies, and approves all materials before any use.
- AI technology may produce errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Your attorney's professional review is the quality control.
Data handling: Your information is processed through AI systems via secure API connections that, under current provider policies, do not use your data for AI model training. We cannot guarantee the data handling practices of third-party AI providers, and you accept this limitation.
4. No Guarantees
While the Firm strives for the best possible outcome in your case, no attorney can guarantee results. Specifically:
- The Platform does not guarantee that an injunction will be granted.
- AI-generated materials may contain errors and require attorney correction.
- Legal outcomes depend on many factors including the specific facts of your case, the evidence available, and the court's judgment.
5. Fees and Payment
Attorney fees are set by the Schill Law Firm and communicated to you before you are asked to pay anything. You will receive a specific fee quote after your attorney reviews your case. You are not obligated to proceed until you accept the quoted fee.
All payments for legal services are made directly to the Schill Law Firm. The Platform does not collect, process, or handle payments for legal services.
6. Your Information and Privacy
We take the security of your information very seriously, especially given the sensitive nature of domestic violence cases. Please read our Privacy Policy for full details on how your information is collected, used, stored, and protected.
Key protections include:
- Your data is encrypted in storage and in transit.
- Emails from us use generic subject lines that do not reveal the nature of your case.
- Every page includes a quick-exit button so you can leave the site immediately if needed.
- Your information is shared only with your attorney — never sold or provided to third parties.
7. Your Consent
By submitting information through this Platform, you consent to:
- AI analysis of your submitted information and evidence, as described in Section 3.
- Sharing your information with your attorney at the Schill Law Firm.
- Receiving communications from us by email (using generic subject lines for your safety).
- These Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Platform is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Platform's technology provider shall not be liable for any damages arising from:
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated materials (which are reviewed by your attorney before use).
- Technical interruptions or service unavailability.
- Loss of data due to circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Your legal rights regarding attorney malpractice, if any, are governed by your relationship with the Schill Law Firm and Florida law — not by these Terms.
9. Account and Access
You access the Platform using a secure email-based login (magic link). You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email account you use with this Platform. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform for violation of these Terms or for any conduct we reasonably believe is harmful.
10. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with Florida Statute §501.171 and any other applicable laws. Notification will include the nature of the breach, the types of data affected, and steps being taken in response.
11. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Santa Rosa County, Florida.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
